Mark Charnock, who has played Emmerdale's Marlon Dingle since October 1996, has revealed that EVERYONE is in danger tonight.
Speaking to Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on the This Morning
sofa, Mark agrees with the hosts in saying that this Emmerdale
storyline is up there with the best, he said: "It's not soap anymore,
it's drama, this is gripping drama and we're very proud of it.
"It's like a movie, people will have to watch both episodes tonight."
In tonight's double episode Marlon will regain consciousness and realise that Cameron's (Dominic Power) siege still rages on.
"Everybody is in danger tonight," he said. "I can't give away too
much - the audience think last night was good. I promise you tonight
surpasses it. It's unbelievable." Mark is out of it but will wake tonight as the cellar is flooded
"I've been extremely lucky," he smiled. "I've had some great stories
down the years and I've loved my job. I've done spin-offs and worked in
Venice but this must be the peak."
Filming the shocking storyline in Pinewood Studios was also up there
as a highlight, but as the 45-year-old missed a chance of meeting Brad
Pitt, he informed that he met another a-lister.
"The [Emmerdale cellar was the]
biggest set they've ever built in Pinewood is the Emmerdale cellar," he
said, as Holly gasps. "I saw Ridley Scott when we went to Pinewood, he
looked over to me and was either loathing or casting."
Does Marlon survive? Does he die?
