KYLE and Jackie O are leaving 2Day FM.
The popular radio duo made the shock announcement this morning that they will not return to the airwaves together as the Kyle and Jackie O Show in 2014.

"We're proud that Kyle and Jackie have not only given Sydney radio audiences the most entertaining radio show ever, they have also raised millions of dollars for charities and those in need whilst also enthralling listeners with the world's hottest music artists and exclusive interviews with famous Hollywood celebrities. They have certainly lived up to their show mantra 'Breakfast with the Stars'! None of which could have happened without the strong and dedicated team working hard behind the scenes," Southern Cross Austereo Head of Content Craig Bruce said in a statement on their website.
Southern Cross Austereo tweeted the news to followers this morning.
Austereo spokeswoman Lisa Schillaci told news.com.au the network hasn't yet considered who might replace the duo.

Speculation has been rife for weeks that something was afoot with the high profile pair unable to come to an agreement on contractual negotiations. Some media outlets had suggested that rival radio station Nova was in talks to poach the pair but the station denied the rumours to news.com.au in early October. "There is absolutely no truth to the rumour that the Nova Network is talking to Kyle Sandilands in any capacity," Paul Jackson, DMG Radio Group Programme Director said. But the writing was on the wall when Kyle refused to commit to a future with Austereo when he spoke to the Sunday Telegraph in September."Oh I love doing the show ... and I'll keep doing radio, but the deal needs to be right," he said." ... obviously I'd like to stay on [at 2DayFM] provided the price is right."We want more money and they might not want to come up with that much, so it really just comes down to negotiation."It's no secret that both stars rake in big bucks at the station - more than $1 million a year to be precise. But, like all good negotiations, someone has to give and in this case it was the Kyle and Jackie O show."I'd imagine that once a replacement is announced the network will be looking at a syndicated show as opposed to just a Sydney-based show," news.com.au Entertainment Editor-at-large Melissa Hoyer commented."When they are paying mega salaries, companies now have to look at getting the best bang for their buck as possible so perhaps they will look at getting a syndicated show with someone like Hamish and Andy."
The rumour mill is already in full swing, with some speculating that Fifi Box and Jackie O may even team up to do a brekkie show together. That seems unlikely however, as Jackie O (real name Henderson) has always said that her on-air chemistry with Sandilands will be hard to replicate.
The pair have been on air together for more than a decade and have held the number one FM breakfast spot for over six years. They started their show in 2005 after previously hosting the Hot30 Countdown.
The Kyle and Jackie O Show scooped the top prize at this year's Australian Commercial Radio Awards, named best on air team in the metro FM category.
They will be together on air for the last time on Friday 29 November.
