Exclusive: James Arthur has admitted how he was banged up in a prison cell for being a thug.
The reigning X Factor champ confessed he was an aggressive drunken ‘scallywag’ before he scooped last year’s TV crown.
‘I was a f***ing idiot,’ he said, owning up to Guilty Pleasures.
‘I used to be a bit of a scallywag, going out fighting and hitting people.
‘I spent the night in a cell once for being drunk and disorderly and just a f***ing a***hole. I think I had a fight with somebody and ended up hurting them.’
He continued: ‘I can be an aggressive drunk, I do think I’m hard when I’ve had a bit to drink, I think I’m Rocky I could fight anyone.’
