Cher is all set to make her X Factor debut this evening and we have to admit, we are more than a little excited!
The 67 year old star has enjoyed a music career spanning for over five decades and she’s still going strong and this evening she turned up in the X Factor studios, to sing her latest single ‘ ‘I Hope You Find It’.’
Cher has won an Academy Award, a Grammy Award, an Emmy Award, three Golden Globe Awards, and the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival, among several other honors. Tonight she hoped to win the approval of X Factor viewers and before taking to the stage, she tweeted:
“Don’t forget to tune into ITV1 for @TheXFactor from 8pm to see Cher perform I Hope You Find it live! Tweet along with #CherFactor #IHYFI”
Cher added:
“Will you be watching Cher perform on @TheXFactor tonight? Tweet along with #CherFactor and ‘Cher’ the love!”
Looking pretty hot for a 67 year old Cher rocked a black embellished body con dress with a cropped leather jacket this evening. It was no Turn Back Time style leotard, but we loved it.
Her vocals were pretty impressive too and we have to admit, we’ve missed Miss C in recent years. We were kind of wishing she would break into a little chorus of ‘Believe’ though. Just to remind us of our hey day!
Recognized as one of the best-selling music artists of all time, to date the amazing Cher has sold more than 100 million solo albums and she is recognised as the only artist to have a number-one single on a Billboard chart in each of the past six decades.
Cher is preparing to release her latest single, “I Hope You Find It” which will serve as the second release from her twenty-sixth album Closer to the Truth. The country pop ballad was originally sung by Miss Twerking herself, Miley Cyrus, and featured previously on the soundtrack of the 2010 film The Last Song.
